What is A Fandom Home Companion?

A podcast in the style of Garrison Keillor's long running radio show, A Prairie Home Companion, https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Prairie_Home_Companion, the idea came to me more than a decade ago, in the golden age of Smallville fandom. Back when "Rift, What Rift?" was a term used to deny the inevitable breakup (of friendship or relationship) between Clark Kent and Lex Luthor. A Smallville Home Companion. As my fandom interests branched out, so did my dreams for this project. A Fandom Home Companion would tell the stories taking place in our favorite universes, happening to the characters we've grown to love, or learned to tolerate.

Of course, it's a shared project, and won't work without you. We need your experience and expertise in the fandoms you love. We need your stories, your songs, your voices and visions. Your insights and in-jokes, the somber and the silly.
